The Shanghai Higher People's Court has approved plans to set up a Yangshan Port Court under the Shanghai Maritime Court just ahead of the opening of the Yangshan Deep-Water Port, officials said yesterday.

The court will offer an impartial judicial environment that goes with the city's status as an international shipping center, officials said.
