One of the Nepali Kitchen¡¯s greatest draws is the authentic dining environment.

Along with savory and varied cuisine, Nepali Kitchen invites you for an authentic and cozy journey to the Nepali world.
Set up five years ago, the three-floor restaurant has quickly gained a reputation with expats and locals alike for its authentic Nepalese food and a "home style" dining experience.
More and more people are delighted to find this small, homey place with soft lighting and warm colors.
Stepping into the restaurant, colorful paper lamps, well placed pictures and an assortment of ethnic ornaments definitely grab your attention and give off a calming feel.
Most people enjoy the relaxing atmosphere sitting around on cushions, chatting with friends while tasting Nepali cuisine. For those larger groups, there are two private rooms with cushioned seating creating an authentic Nepalese ambience.
The slow rhythm in the restaurant seems the opposite of the city outside and provides a perfect space to relax. The friendly staff, dressed in traditional Nepali costume, will guide customers through the menu.
Faced with the menu, it's hard to avoid ordering the two set meals - the vegetarian for 70 yuan (US$8.64) and the non-vegetarian for 85 yuan, which seem to include nearly everything on the menu.
The vegetarian set includes Nepali style tomato soup, plain rice, mixed vegetable curry, spinach sauted with herbs and spices, and lentil soup. The staple of the meal, the mixed vegetable curry, came with fresh vegetables of varied colors.
The menu also has a Nepali Kitchen special set priced at 130 yuan that contains most of the restaurant's specialties such as prawn curry, mushroom and pea curry, chicken choila. This menu includes fruit salad and coffee.
The menu, largely filled with Nepalese style dishes, also contains several Tibetan and Indian meals. The restaurant has a special lunch menu in which prices range from 10 yuan for potato chili to 40 yuan for the prawn curry. It also contains a set menu for vegetarians 45 yuan or non-vegetarians 60 yuan.
