Number five seed Nicolay Davydenko of Russia beat Argentina's Gaston
Gaudio to secure a berth in the semi-finals of tennis Shanghai Masters Cup.
In a just finished match of the Golden Group, Davydenko overpowered last
year's French Open champion Gaudio in two straight sets: 6-3, 6-4.
This is Davydenko's first win in six encounters between the two. Gaudio won
the previous five matches.
