Several edge-cutting technologies devices will debut and be well-utilised in the site of World Expo Shanghai in 2010, including cameras to monitor the visitors flow and "Expo cell phones" to recommend visiting route.

The organisers are planning to display world's advanced technology in project, ticket, visitor flow and security managing during the Expo Shanghai.

China Telecoms, one of Expo's official global partners, said they will install cameras in the Expo Site to monitor the environment, lighting, aeration and visitors flow in the pavilions.

The information could be provided to the designers and working staff in the pavilions. It will also be delivered to the visitors for choosing the visiting route and proper transportation tools.

The organisers will also develop "Expo cell phones" with China Mobile, another official global partner of the Expo, to use them as the guide for tourists.

Visitors can rent these cell phones to enjoy 3G technology. In some shops, people can take a photo of the special code on what they are interested in and pay for them with the "cell phone wallet."

These cell phones could also allow visitors to share their images and the scenery in the Expo Site with their friends around the world.

Besides using the tickets to enter the Expo Site, the visitors may also pay with the money left in the card, the organisers said.

The "online Expo" is another high-tech attraction to the visitors. People could just click the mouse and see the visual panorama of the pavilions as well as the introduction of exhibiting objects.

They will also develop an online game with an Expo background for the visitors.
