The overseas promotion of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai has kicked off in Japan. To showcase the image of Shanghai, a photo exhibition, part of the events of "Shanghai Weeks", will start today in Tokyo.

320 photos about Shanghai will be displayed on the "Expo Express" train (to the Narita International Airport) for one month and a half.

As the first stop for overseas promotion of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, Japan will host a series of events during the "Shanghai Weeks" from March 16 to April 30, whose theme was "Charming Shanghai, Brilliant Expo".

Besides the photo exhibition, the "Shanghai Weeks" will see other events such as briefing on promotion of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, Shanghai TV Week and tourism promotion.
