World Expo 2010 Shanghai is seeking enterprises and cities interested in
exhibiting their technologies and achievements in company pavilions and the
"Best Practices Region."
The recruitment of company participants will launch next month and the
organisers have allocated some two thirds of all the company pavilions to
domestic or local renowned enterprises.
Among the global partners of World Expo 2010, China Telecom, China Mobile,
Bank of Communications, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation Group (SAIC)
and General Motors Corporation (GM) have all indicated their intention of
joining in.
The "Best Practices Region," a special highlight of World Expo 2010 Shanghai,
will be themed as "Sustainable Development and Ecological City".
It is expected that 20 to 30 cities from around the world will take part in
the "Best Practices Region."
So far, 123 attendees have signed up for the event. The seats for countries
and international organisation will be available until June, 2009.
