Synopsis:
FUTURE BEACH tells a story of ordinary people and their half-buried dreams and desires，of the Germans, Jan, Rudi and Angie, Kati from Finland, the Hungarian Laszlo, Ana from Spain and Rosa from Cuba who meet up at the end of the world, in the heat of Andalusia, and find their chance to make a new beginning…
Jan, Rudi and his girlfriend Kati run a small bar in Muehlheim, Colongue. One day, Ruti runs away for Spain with a large sum of money, which should be paid for the taxes. Jan loves Kati very much and wants to start a new life with her in converting the bar into a small and warm restaurant. But their dreams are shattered as the inspector of the tax office tells them that they haven’t paid taxes for two years and they are not allowed to open their restaurant. Jan decides to go to Spain to get the money back, which brings him to Future Beach, a small train station in the village. And it is in this little station, Jan encounters Angie, a German girl who wants to arrange a bar and lives happily ever after, and Loszlo, a lonely old man whose wife passed away two years ago, and Anna, Loszlo’s sister-in-law, who secretly loves Loszlo…
