PRINCE GOMEZ
Synopsis: Gomez is a typical clerk
living a monotonous life. The prince is a successful football player. Gomez and
the prince are identical. Actually they could be twin brothers. The prince has
no idea but there is a stranger out there with his same own face. For Gomez this
is a nightmare: his relatives call him Prince as a joke. People stop him in the
streets. But, when they realize Gomez is nobody, they go away disappointed.
As if it was the dark side of The Prince succeeds, Gomez¡¯s depression and
apathy are intense. Gomez goes back to his mother¡¯s, but tragedy follows him: a
light blackout lets him without the only balm that maintained him alive. Almost
in a breakdown Gomez checks the cupboard of his old bedroom and finds his first
grade marks. A teacher¡¯s note, congratulating him for his creativity, becomes
suddenly his only hope.
With an aim in his life Gomez goes out looking for
the teacher that once trusted him. Desperate for believing in something, Gomez
starts drawing again and goes to visit his uncle in hospital. Before he does
something for preventing his uncle from dying there, the old man dies. During
the vigil people only talk about the damaged appearance he had in his last
months. Leaving that memory in their minds, Gomez comes out and starts his way
to Bariloche.
