Schwarzenegger to attend Shanghai Film Festival

US superstar-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will attend the 8th
Shanghai International Film Festival, which opens on June 11 in the eastern
metropolis. The "Govenator" of California had been invited by the organizers to
attend the festival as an option for his tour of Shanghai¡ªto which he is coming
for another activity.
A total of 196 films will be screened at the
festival, which will feature more than 100 big names such as Jackie Chan, Lu
Chuan, Jia Zhangke and Japanese director Yoji Yamada.
The festival will
open with "Lu Xun," a film directed by Ding Yinnan.
The festival mainly
features new directors from the mainland, including Chen Li for "Duet," Gao Feng
for "Beautiful Homeland," and Zheng Fangnan for "Xixia Temple 1937."
