The second batch of seven tons of tariff-free Taiwan fruit arrived in the city yesterday.
The first batch, which arrived in local markets on August 2, sold out within five days, said officials of the Taiwan-invested Shanghai Ggood Trade Co Ltd, the city's largest distributor of Taiwan fruit. Retail price of the newly arrived Taiwan fruit will also decrease by 10 percent. Ggood said it will import 30 tons of fruit from Taiwan every month.
