The annual meeting of leaders of China, Japan and South Korea will be postponed because of "the atmosphere and conditions," the Chinese Foreign Ministry said yesterday.
It said China would continue to fulfill its obligations.
China hopes the three countries could work together to remove obstacles for stable development, the ministry said.
The meeting was originally scheduled for mid-December in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
