Following are the routes for the torch relay of the
2008 Paralympic Games which were unveiled yesterday night at the China
Millennium Monument in Beijing:
Beijing-Vancouver-London-Sochi-Hong Kong;
Shenzhen-Chongqing-Wuhan-Shanghai-Qingdao-Dalian-Tianjin;
Huangdi Mausoleum-Xi'an-Hohhot-Urumqi-Chengdu-Changsha-Nanjing-Lauoyang;
According to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games
(BOCOG), the Paralympic Flame will travel along each of the three routes
simultaneously between Aug. 28 and Sept. 6, 2008, and the torches will finally
meet in Beijing and light the cauldron at the opening ceremony of the Paralympic
Games on the night of Sept. 6, 2008.
