A Japanese torchbearer values as her best memory the experience of bearing
the Beijing Olympic flame in China during the Nanchang leg relay today. "What
impressed me most is strong enthusiasm during the torch relay. I would send my
best blessings to the Beijing Olympic Games," said Shinobe Toyoko. The
54-year-old Japanese came to Nanchang as a volunteer in early April and works in
the China-Japan Friendship Association as a Japanese language
teacher.
