Olympic torch relay in SW China's World Heritage City concludes

The Beijing Olympic torch relay in World Heritage City Lijiang concluded
in Lijiang , Southwest China at 11:29 am local time today at the foot of Yulong
Snow Mountain in Southwest China's Yunnan Province.
The last torchbearer was
female vice mayor Yang Yiben, an ethnic Naxi who used to travel around the world
in a car.
The Mount Yulong is a famous scenic spot in China. The snow-capped
mountain had 13 peaks along the range. The summit, Shanzidou, is 5,596 meters
above sea level.
