Strong tropical storm Mindulle, a Korean name for dandelion, landed Saturday in Yueqing City in east China's Zhejiang Province.

Wind speed topped grade ten at the eye of storm Mindulle, about 25 to 33 meters per second, according to Zhejiang provincial meteorological observatory.

Under the influence of the strong tropical storm, it's been raining in Zhejiang since Friday. The middle and southern parts of Zhejiang Province have been attacked by rainstorms and gales after the storm bore down at the coastal city at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The typhoon has wrecked havoc across the province. No casualties have been reported so far. Enditem
