Airline safety under scrutiny
22/11/2004 17:16

The air crash in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia has raised the alarm for domestic air carriers, CCTV.com reported Monday.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China is taking urgent measures to ensure flight safety on domestic airlines.

The CAAC warns that changeable weather complicated flight conditions and urged domestic airlines to tighten safety measures and upgrade aircraft maintenance.

Inspection teams will be sent to local carriers to see whether they have followed orders. Enditem
