The Kuomintang delegation from Taiwan is now in Nanjing, capital city of East
China's Jiangsu Province, to continue their visit on the mainland.
On Tuesday evening, secretary of Jiangsu Provincial committee of Chinese
Communist Party, Li Yuanchao, met with the delegation headed by Chiang Pin-kung,
vice President of the Kuomintang Party.
Li Yuanchao said, to push forward the reunification and prosperity of China
is the common responsibility for all Chinese people.
Chiang Pin-kung said the delegation will meet the Taiwan businessmen who are
investing in the region, and promote cross-Straits trade ties.
The delegation will pay a visit to the Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the
founder of Kuomintang, on early Wednesday morning.
Nanjing is the second leg of the delegation's mainland tour. They will also
fly to Beijing Wednesday afternoon before wrapping up the five-day visit.
