Authorities in Chongqing Municipality's Wuxi County evacuated more than 30,000 residents as of yesterday after a rockslide hit an under-construction reservoir. More than 100,000 cubic meters of rocks and mud caved in at the Zhongliang Reservoir on Tuesday night, blocking the Xixi River, the local government said. Water was about 2 meters below the top of the dam early yesterday.
