Li Liying of Hunan won the women's weightlifting 69kg class with a total of 275kg at the National Games in Suzhou on Wednesday.
Li Liying, at 22, snatched 125kg in her third attempt, bettering the world record set by the China's Liu Chunhong by 2. 5kg in Athens Olympic Games.
She finished the jerk with 150kg, 3kg short of the world mark also set by Liu Chunhong at the Athens Olympics.
Liu Haixia of Tianjin was second at 265kg and Zhan Yan of Shanghai third at 262.5kg.
