Fujian dominates men's coxless double at National Games

Fujian rowers won the gold in men's coxless double at the rowing events of
the 10th National Games in Nanjing , East China on Thursday.
Fujian rowers
have shown their stamina and will to compete with strong opponents like Zhejiang
and Guangdong, finishing in 6:32.85 to seal victory. Zhejiang took initial lead
but lost the battle in the last few meters to settle for the second in 6:35.92,
and the bronze went to Guangdong with a time of 6:43.39.
"We are very very
happy because this is the first gold for Fujian after the opening ceremony,"
said a Fujian rower.
