Liu Chunhong won women's weighlifting 75kg at National Games

Olympic champion Liu Chunhong won the women's weighlifting 75kg gold by
shattering the world records in Suzhou , East China at the ongoing National Game
on Thursday.
Liu Chunhong, winner of women's 69kg in Athens, snatched 125kg
in her third lift and hoisted 150kg in the first attempt in the jerk to slash
her own total world mark of 273kg by 2kg set in Bsuan Junior Worlds.
Liu of
Shandong continued her legend as she hefted 155kg in the last attempt thus won
the gold medal with a combined total of 280kg, cracking the world mark by
7kg.
Her jerk result also refreshed the jerk world record set by Sun Ruiping
in 2002 by 2.5kg.
Du Yeying of Chinese Army won the silver at the same result
but had to be placed second because of the body weight disadvantage. Li Xia
settled for the bronze at 270kg.
