Jiangxi rowers triumphed in the women's single sculls to notch their second
rowing gold medal at the 10th Chinese National Games in Nanjing on
Friday.
In a fierce contention against Shandong, Jiangxi sealed the victory
eventually in 7:33.69. Shandong settled for the silver with 7:33.98, and Henan
got the bronze in 7:44.30.
Jiangxi won the women's double sculls on Thursday, and the hard-fought second
gold may let them feel good.
"I have thought the match should be tight, and the victory makes me feel
happy," said Jin Ziwei, the leading rower for Jiangxi.
