Wen Hairui handed Hebei the first cycling gold after winning the title of the men's 4-kilometer individual pursuit at the 10th National Games in Nanjing on Friday.

Wen clocked four minutes and 47.417 seconds to take the gold, while Zeng Zhaoyu of Liaoning won the silver in four minutes and 48.535 seconds.

The bronze went to Henan's Ma Yajun in 4:45.468.
