Zhao Haijun claimed Jilin's first cycling gold at the 10th Chinese National
Games when she won the women's individual 3-kilometer pursuit on Friday.
Zhao clocked three minutes and 45.644 seconds, beating Wang Li of Jiangsu
province into the second place. Wang, who won Thursday's preliminary round in an
Asian-record time of 3:43.502, failed to repeat the feat and was timed 3:47.695
seconds.
Yunnan cyclist Zheng Puxiang grabbed the bronze in 3 minutes 50.998
seconds.
