Top-seeded Peng Shuai,the highest-ranked female tennis player of China, cruised into the semifinals of women's singles of the 10th National Games after smashing Yan Zi 6-1, 6-2 in Nanjing Monday.

Second-seed Sun Tiantian also advanced into semifinals togetherwith third seed Zheng Jie and fourth-seeded Li Na.

Peng will play Li, defending champion of the quadrennial event and Zheng Jie will take on Sun Tiantian on Wednesday.
