Top-seeded Li Ting and Zhu Benqiang claimed the mixed doubles tennis title at the 10th National Games, beating third-seeded Liu Wanting and Lu Hao of the Chinese Army 6-1 and 6-3 on Monday.

This is the second tennis gold medal for Hubei at the quadrennial event, following its victory in the women's team last Tuesday.

Li Ting also won the mixed doubles in the 2001 National Games when she paired with Jiang Shan, while Zhu Benqiang and Li Na were the bronze medalists of the mixed doubles in 2001.

The bronze medal was won by Peng Shuai and Wang Yu, after theirTianjin teammates withdrew from the place-off.
