Wang Yu of Tianjin, the No.1 seed of the men's tennis singles, was ousted 6-4, 4-6 and 6-4 by Zeng Shaoxuan of Jiangsu in the semifinal at the 10th National Games on Wednesday.

Wang claimed the singles silver medal at the last National Games, held in Guangzhou in 2001.

Zeng will compete for the title against second seed Sun Peng of Tianjin in Friday's final after Sun breezed across Zhu Benqiang of Hubei 6-1 and 6-3 in the other semifinal.
