Shandong archer Jiang lin beat Guangxi veteran Huang Zhongsheng 106-103 to earn men' s individual archery gold at the National Games on Thursday.

Jianglin made use of Huang Zhongsheng's big mistake of the fourth arrow, which wasn't fired in due time (40 seconds) and then was nullified by the referee.

In the bronze medal play-off, two Chinese Olympic archers Xue Haifeng of Xinjiang and Yong Fujun of Shaanxi clashed with each other. Xue finally defeated his national teammate 109-105 to win.
