Rescuers have found the bodies of five miners who had been trapped in a flooded Northeast China colliery as of yesterday afternoon, while another trapped miner was still missing.

Investigators said 11 miners were trapped when the flooding occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Fusheng Coal Mine in Boli County, Heilongjiang Province. The rescuers are still searching for the missing miner. One other escaped and four were rescued.
