Comoran president heads for east China

Comoran President Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi left here Thursday for Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang province.

Sambi arrived in Beijing on Tuesday for the Beijing Summit of the Forum on the China-Africa Cooperation scheduled for Nov. 4-5.

The Beijing summit provides an opportunity to strengthen South-South cooperation against the background of globalization asit will exert a greater impact on international politics and economy, Sambi said prior to his visit to China.

Before coming back to attend the summit, the president will also visit Yiwu, China's largest distribution center for small commodities in Zhejiang.
