Shanghai Xehe Hospital and Zhabei District conducted an AIDS education and condom distributing event over the weekend at Shanghai Railway Station. About 60,000 free condoms and education brochures were handed out. According to the hospital, China still lags behind in sex education and many young people don't have basic knowledge about sex. Moreover, 17 percent of Chinese people have never used any contraceptive devices.
