On the heels of the CPPCC meeting, the annual session of China's National
People's Congress begins on Saturday. With preparations coming to an end,
journalists from around the world are getting ready for a busy few days.
This year, there's a dramatic increase in the number of western media
covering the NPC and CPPCC sessions. To many, it's an exciting opportunity to
learn more about Chinese politics.

This reporter is from Belgium. He's been covering the NPC sessions for the
past eight years. Ahead of the meeting, he's concentrating on collecting
information from all kinds of sources.
