A book titled 'Epic of Zheng He' has recently been approved by scholars and experts and will be published at the end of June.

As an important component of the activities celebrating the 600th anniversary of Zheng He's navigation during the Ming Dynasty, the album is a co-production of Yunnan Chenguang Publishing House, Yunnan Art Publishing House and Yunnan People Publishing House.

With an investment of nearly two million yuan, or about 250,000 US dollars, the editors of this album has spent three years touring a dozen provinces and cities in China and many Southeast Asian countries, collecting more than 3,000 pictures and picking out several hundred for the publication.

Zheng He is considered one of the great navigators in Chinese history.

He carried out seven voyages to the southwest, West Asia and East Africa during the Ming Dynasty, 600 years ago.
