Iran not bow to demands from UN: official

The visiting Iranian foreign affairs minister Manochener Motaki said here on Saturday that Iran will not bow to demands from the United Nations to suspend its nuclear activities.

Speaking after touring the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings where his country played a major role in the digitalization program,Motaki said Iran was prepared for talks based on the rules and regulations of the nuclear non proliferation treaty.Motaki said Iran will not compromise its right to have nuclear technology for national development purposes.

He noted that the digitalization program at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Holdings was clear testimony of the continued cordial relations between Iran and Zimbabwe.

The minister emphasized that information and communication technology are important development tools in the modern world and need greater support.

The digitalization of ZBH was undertaken through a six millio neuros Iranian facility.
