German Chancellor Angela Merkel and visiting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said yesterday that all ways should be tried to find a diplomatic solution to the Iran nuclear issue.

The two leaders made the remarks at a joint press conference after their talks, in which they also focused on the Palestinian issue.
