12/10/2006 15:26
UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said yesterday that the Iranians are
watching out the reaction of the international community after the Democratic
People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) announced its first-ever nuclear test.
"The Iranians are paying attention to what is happening on the Korean
Peninsular and what is happening here in the Security Council," Annan told
reporters at the U.N. headquarters in New York.
He refused to elaborate, just adding that council members are very conscious
of this and bear their mind the broad implication of any action.
