A delegation of the Palestinian group Hamas, which has been entitled to form the next Palestinian self-rule government, arrived in Moscow early Friday for a two-day high-profile visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The delegation is led by the group's exiled political leader, Khaled Mashaal, who will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov later in the day.
