Czech Republic will be in short of strikers at their second World Cup
match of Group E against Ghana in Cologne on Saturday, as Milan Baros and Jan
Koller have set to miss it due to injuries.
Koller injured his hamstring in Monday's opening 2-0 win over the United
States, and has been ruled out till at least the end of the group stage
The 24-year-old Baros, who had missed the opener due to a foot injury in a
warm-up match against Trinidad and Tobago, had been hopeful for Saturday's match
but broke down in training and must wait for his return.
Star veteran Vratislav Lokvenc, 32, set to fill in and start as a lone
striker for the Czechs.
