27/6/2006 17:09

Dick Advocaat bid his farewell to South Korea today and left for Russia for his new coaching job.
Advocaat did not renew his contract to coach South Korea after they were eliminated from the Germany World Cup last week.
The Ductchman, who had led the team since last September, highly commended the performance of South Korean players during the tournament.
"We were unbeaten in seven matches at home since I took control of the team," Advocaat said in a farewell news conference in Seoul.
At the conference, he confirmed two South Korean players, defender Kim Dong-jin and midfielder Lee Ho, will join him at the Russian professional football club Zenit Saint Petersburg.
South Korean Football Association announced Monday that Pim Verbeek, Advocaat's assistant, will take over as the national team coach.
