Bangladesh has strongly condemned the series of bombings in India's Mumbai
train station, which have left at least 140 people dead and over 300 wounded.
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia sent messages to Indian Prime
Minister Manmohan Singh late Tuesday night, in which she expressed her deep
condemnation and concern at the bombings.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Bangladesh always stood
against terrorist acts in all its forms and manifestations.
The prime minister expressed hopes that the government of India would be able
to bring the perpetrators of this violent act to justice.
