Hezbollah militia bombarded an Israeli navy ship off Beirut Friday
evening, local ANB television and Lebanese security sources said.
The vessel was sinking, the television said, while Lebanese security sources
said that two rockets hit the warship.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah also claimed that his Shiite movement had
destroyed an Israeli warship which struck his group's headquarters in a southern
suburb of Beirut.
Earlier in the day, Israel pounded Nasrallah's house and the headquarters of
Hezbollah near the capital Beirut.
