Hezbollah gunners renewed their rocket attacks on northern Israel yesterday
morning, killing a baby and his mother, local media reported.
A rocket slammed into a house in the Israeli Arab village of Dir el-Asad,
near Karmiel, killing a 3-year-old toddler and his mother, and wounding two more
people while 38 others were treated for shock.
The number of deaths of Israeli Arabs killed in Hezbollah barrage has been
raised to to 17 so far.
Rocket alert sirens sounded across northern Israel on Thursday. Some 160
rockets were fired at Israel from Lebanon on Wednesday, with 66 landing in the
area of Kiryat Shmona.
In total, some 3,350 rockets have been fired at northern Israel since the war
broke out on July 12, leaving dozens of civilians dead.
