Israeli PM orders ceasefire hours ahead of UN-required truce

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ordered the army to observe a ceasefire
from 2:00 a.m. Monday (2300 GMT Sunday) and pull back some troops from southern
Lebanon, the Ha'aretz newspaper reported on its website.
The ceasefire ordered by Israel was six hours ahead of a UN Security Council
prescribed truce between Israeli forces and Hezbollah guerrillas that is due to
take effect at 0500 GMT.
