Israeli intelligence agency (Shin Bet) announced Saturday that it arrested a
Palestinian youth who confessed to killing a foreign tourist in Jerusalem on
Aug. 10.
According to Israeli daily Ha'aretz, the suspect is a resident from the West
Bank village of Kabatiya, south of Jenin, and is allegedly linked with the
Islamic Jihad (Holy War).
On Aug. 10, an Italian tourist was stabbed to death in a Palestinian
neighborhood near Jerusalem's Old City and later died of his wounds.
The victim was identified as Angelo Frammartino, 25, from MonteRotondo,
Italy. Frammartino came to Israel to help establish a summer camp for Arab
children in Jerusalem.
