Jonas Kazlauskas, head coach of the Chinese men's basketball team, said here
Tuesday that he has yet known nothing about the opponents at the upcoming Asian
Games in Doha.
"I know that China has been drawn into a group alongside with some tough
teams like Kazakhstan and Lebanon, but till now I've not yet gotten to know
anything about our opponents," the Lithuanian told Xinhua at the Athletes'
Village here Tuesday evening.
"These information stuff should definitely be done before we come here, but
unfortunately there's no one doing these jobs," moaned Jonas.
"So we just come and see," he added.
On his expectation for the Chinese team, Jonas kept a low key, saying that "a
third place finish will be OK."
The reigning Asian champions are missing their two leading players, the NBA
all-star center Yao Ming and starting forward Du Feng for the Doha Asiad.
