Ji of China sets Asian Games record to win women's 50m breaststroke

Asian champion Ji Liping of China took the women's 50m breaststroke gold
medal and set a Games record in the Asian Games swimming competition in Doha
yesterday.
Ji clocked a new record of 31.52 seconds to win the 50m
breaststroke which was added to the Asian Games program for the first
time.
Japanese Asami Kitagawa was second in 32.27 while Chinese teenager Wang
Jun took bronze in 32.53.
