China overtook Japan with 377.100 points to extend their men's team dominance for the ninth successive time at the Asiad in Doha 2006 yesterday.
China scored 377.100 points, beating Japan by 4.050 points. South Korea totalled 371.500 points to settle at the third place at Doha 2006.
China overcame a 1.500-point deficit before the last rotation to win the team's top honor. China's all five gymnasts finished a 16.000 plus points in their last apparatus vault, which drove them to surpass Japan by ease, who are pitching on floor exercises.
South Korean Yang Tae Young suffered foot injury over landing of high bar, but he struggled to take the pommel horse and earned his team a bronze.
