Chinese reigning champion Tan Zongliang triumphed in the men's 10m air pistol here at the 15th Asian Games on Sunday.

Tan, 35, secured his title by a total score of 687.1 points despite of a second lowest final round score of 99.1 points.

Kim Jong Su from DPR Korea grabbed the silver with a total of 684.8 points, followed by Jin Jong Oh of South Korea on 683.4 points.

Earlier in the day, the Chinese team, composed of Tan, Lin Zhongzai and Pang Wei, won the team title of the event.
