China lifted women's 4x100m freestyle relay swimming title for the fifth time
in six Asian Games in Doha on Sunday.
China took the second relay gold following the women's 4x100m medley relay
victory in three minutes 42.11 seconds.
Japan were promoted to the second place in a time of
3:45.86 after South Korea suffered disqualification.
Hong Kong, China, originally fourth, took bronze, their first swimming medal
here, in 3:48.82.
Xu Yanwei established the lead with more than a body-length than the closest
opponent from Japan before Yang Yu and Wang Dan solidified their leading
position. Reigning 200m free champion Pang Jiaying sealed the victory in 55.53
seconds, the fastest among the four.
