China's Wang Nan became the new Asiad champion in the men's double trap
individual event at the Lusail Shooting Complex here on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Asiad debutant who shot down the highest of 144 targets out
of 150 in the qualification round, one more than his compatriot Hu Binyuan,
runner-up of the World Championships in Zagreb, and secured the gold medal after
gathering 45 hits from the 50-target final round.
His world-famous teammate Hu, who also had 45 hits in the final, was beaten
to the second with a total of 188 hits.
India's Rajyavardhan Si Rathore took the bronze medal in 185 hits.
